In 2004, then Sgt Campbell, found a passion for the game of Texas Hold'em in his downtime during combat operations in Fallujah, Iraq. While attached to 3/1 in early 2005, Sgt Campbell sustained injuries from a land mine detonating within feet of his position. After returning to the fight, Sgt Campbell finished the tour with 3/4. Sgt Campbell returned to Fallujah a few months after his first tour and spent that deployment with 1/6 and 2/6.
Upon returning to the states in 2006, now SSgt Campbell relocated to Tampa Bay, FL and founded several companies: The Poker Depot™, Poker Whiz Wheel™, Warrior Chip™, and several other poker related companies and partnerships. As The Poker Depot pursued the custom ceramic chip industry, SSgt Campbell turned his passion for poker into a hobby by creating Warrior Chips. These Warrior Chips were a natural substitute for the old metal challenge coins. By offering a wider design spectrum, less weight and excellent pricing, these "military poker chips" are "The Next Generation Challenge Coin!"
Now, Gunnery Sergeant Campbell (Ret.) continues to support military units around the world in their pursuit of finding the best military poker chips available.
